June 2 1945 Rome . My father along with Cugnu Giuseppe testified that the first group in this list were deceased but the other 3 were alive in Salzburg where the refugee camp was located . Bear in mind they were liberated May 9. Less than one month they had been strong enough to make the trip to Rome from Austria.
Could I please have the full translation of this stone?It may be my Great Grandfather buried on Rhodes Along with my Grandfather and 4 other. Of my Grandfathers siblings.Thanks for any help with dates and names.
Today I received the annual calendar from Aaron Hasson .To my surprise and glee a photo of my Aunt Djoya/Giulia and her little sister Felicina/MazalSciarcon was included.They were both deported.Djoya had the chance to avoid deportation in August of 1944.But being orphans she felt it her duty to protect her siblings.
